Travel Assistance Terms

These terms explain how our individual travel assistance services work, what we will do for you and the limits of what any assistance service can achieve.

1. Independent provider

Trusted Choice UK is an independent travel assistance and digital travel planning business. We are not an airline, airport, hotel, immigration authority, lounge operator, baggage handler or any other third-party travel provider, and we do not represent them or act as their agent unless we have expressly stated otherwise in writing.

Our services may involve submitting requests, arranging assistance, or attempting to obtain services from airlines, airports, lounges, baggage providers, upgrade systems or other third-party providers on your behalf.

2. What an assistance service is

Every service we sell is an assistance, request or arrangement service. We use our knowledge and time to put your request to the relevant provider through the channels available for your booking, follow it up and tell you the outcome.

We do not describe any third-party dependent service as guaranteed. All such services are subject to availability, eligibility, approval, provider rules, operational restrictions, schedule changes and other circumstances outside our control.

3. Preferred Seat Assistance

We can assist with requesting or arranging preferred seating on your booking. Seat availability, eligibility, seat maps, any applicable fees, aircraft changes, operational reseating and final confirmation are controlled entirely by the airline or relevant provider.

A seat request may be refused, changed or withdrawn by the airline at any time, including at the airport or on the day of travel.

4. Extra Baggage Assistance

We can assist with requesting additional baggage allowance. Baggage allowance, the availability of additional baggage, pricing, piece and weight restrictions and approval are controlled by the relevant airline or provider and can change.

Any baggage charges levied by the airline are separate from our service fee and are payable to the airline under its own terms.

5. Lounge Access Assistance

We can assist with arranging lounge access where lounges are available to your travelling party. Access depends on availability, eligibility, lounge operating hours, capacity, airport restrictions, airline or provider rules and any applicable third-party conditions.

Lounges may close, restrict entry or refuse access on the day for operational reasons.

6. Fast Track Assistance

Fast Track availability and access depend on the airport, the terminal, operating conditions, provider availability and applicable rules. Fast Track is not offered at every airport or in every terminal.

Purchasing assistance does not guarantee access where the third-party provider does not approve or does not provide the service.

7. Business Class Upgrade Wishlist

This is an upgrade assistance and request service. It is not a guaranteed Business Class upgrade and must not be understood as one.

We register your cabin preference and put your upgrade interest to the airline through the channels available for your booking. Final upgrade approval, availability, cabin pricing, points or fare requirements and eligibility are determined solely by the airline or provider, often close to departure or not at all.

8. Flight Date Change Assistance

Date change assistance does not guarantee that your flight date can be changed. Changes depend on airline rules, fare conditions, availability on the requested date, change penalties, fare differences and airline approval.

Any airline change fees, fare differences, taxes or penalties are separate from our service fee and are payable to the airline where applicable.

9. Information you provide

You are responsible for the accuracy of booking references, passenger names as they appear on the booking, dates, flight numbers and preferences you supply. Incorrect or incomplete details can prevent a request from being actioned, and the service fee remains non-refundable in those circumstances.

10. Third-party providers

Third-party providers remain responsible for their own services, decisions, schedules, availability, policies, pricing and operational changes. We do not control third-party systems or decisions and cannot guarantee that a requested third-party service will be approved or will remain available once granted.

Travel assistance services are provided on a non-refundable basis and are subject to third-party availability, eligibility, approval and applicable provider rules.

Travel assistance services are provided on a non-refundable basis and are subject to third-party availability, eligibility, approval and applicable provider rules. We are an independent travel assistance provider and are not affiliated with or endorsed by any airline, airport or other provider unless expressly stated. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
